Anti Creationism, Anti Creationist

Richard Dawkins (Anti Creationism, Anti Creationist)

Oxford professor Richard Dawkins has helped steer evolutionary science into the 21st century, and his concept of the “meme” contextualized the spread of ideas in the information age.

Richard Dawkins urges all atheists to openly state their position — and to fight the incursion of the church into politics and science. A fiery, funny, powerful talk.

Michael Shermer (Anti Creationism, Anti Creationist)

Michael Shermer debunks myths, superstitions and urban legends, and explains why we believe them.

Why do people see the Virgin Mary on a cheese sandwich or hear demonic lyrics in “Stairway to Heaven”? Using video and music, skeptic Michael Shermer shows how we convince ourselves to believe — and overlook the facts.

Julia Sweeney (Anti Creationism, Anti Creationist)

As a solo performer, comic actor Julia Sweeney explores love, cancer, family and faith.

Julia Sweeney (God Said, “Ha!”) performs the first 15 minutes of her 2006 solo show Letting Go of God. When two young Mormon missionaries knock on her door one day, it touches off a quest to completely rethink her own beliefs.

  1. I, for one, like to believe in the super-intelligent God that He is. But the story of ‘Creation’ as narrated in Genesis does not portray God as even ordinarily intelligent. Creationists need to present a better believable story than that in Genesis. An interested reader may see my views under “Un-Godly Genesis” on my web site http://sites/google.com/site/tatoodi for more details.
