Veg – vs – Non Veg
I have ddiscussion on our selection of food. One learned person told , many people of world are becoming obase due to many reasons.One of them is pointing the selection of nonvegetarian food.. The persond who are regularly eating nonveg supported it with explanation that it is rich in protein. No vegetarian food except pulses can give highly rich proteins…..At the same time vegetarian suggested that not only pulses but cheese, panir,milk etc can also give high rich protein. It is not necessary to eat nonveg food. and after all it is crualty to kill animals just for the sake of our food habits.
Shall we make this discussion open for all????

well i am vegge. i do it because scientifically like horses, elephants and other animals we are made by nature to be suited to eat veg food.
Recent survey indicates that nonveg food is rich in protein is true but it accumulates cholesterol in abundance., which is the root cause of many diseases like high b.p, obasity, heart attack etc….At the same time the food prepared from soyprotein.whay protein can give ample of protein. and very less or almost nil cholesterol. Then why not to use veg food????Ofcourse I am vegetarian too..
Veg or Non veg is a choice that individual should make.
can you give me scientific evidence that we should vegeterian?
can you give me evidence whey protein is absolute necessity for our bodies?
can you give me evidence with statistics?

The Animal Proteins are superior in value tham the Veg source.
Yes..milk or milk products are the only source for the Animal Protein for the Vegetarians.
Yes..too much OR all the time consumption of the Meats is no good…and with the same token, too much of “ghee sweets etc” is bad for you.
Human are given the brain to “think”, but often Humans listen to the “taste buds “& other Desires..That’s where the Problem is !
So..just because one is a non-vegetarian he/she MUST NOT be made an “outcaste” in the Human Society.
One had made the arguement that our teeth are for “vegi Foods” only & Animal teeth are for the meats. I have some reservation in this justfication.
I admire those who are the VEGETARIANS bt their Dietary Habits..I also admire those who are NON-VEGETARIANS because of their Dietary Habits.
Hindu Religion has talked of Foods in General & subdivided into 3 Categories..Satva..Rajas..Tamas…Beyond that is the man-made compartments
Why other Religions do not stress on Veg/nonveg Points ?
Finally….
Those who say that as a VEGETARIAN one is not getting the “total dietary elements” is a fool !
